Contact
There is no web form, no ticketing system and no community server. Everything goes through email, which is what makes it possible to actually read each message.
Three kinds of message that help
1. Something here is wrong or out of date
The most useful category by far. This site documents system information that keeps changing — version ranges, menu names and conclusions can all go stale. If you have confirmed that a claim no longer holds, tell us which page and which sentence.
2. You cannot reach a conclusion for your own device
For example: your version sits right on a boundary, you are unsure which architecture column applies, or the compatibility lookup's result does not match what you see on the device. These usually need specifics to resolve — see the next section.
3. Rights and compliance
If you believe something here infringes your rights — copyright, trademark, privacy — say which page and on what basis. We will look into it promptly and will amend or remove anything that turns out to be a genuine problem.
What to include
Without these details most technical questions cannot be answered, and the reply will simply ask for them — costing you an extra round trip.
| Detail | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Device model | Settings → General → About → Model Name |
| iOS version | Settings → General → About → Software Version (write it in full — 16.6.1, not 16.6) |
| Chip architecture | Not required — the model is enough for us to work it out |
| Exact symptom | The wording or behaviour you see. "The icon is there but it says unavailable", not "it doesn't work" |
| Which page | The guide you were following, or the result the compatibility lookup gave you |
| What you have tried | So we do not send you back to something you already did |
About screenshots: there is no need to send anything containing personal information. If a screenshot is genuinely required, redact it first.
What this site does not provide
To avoid wasted messages, here is what not to ask for:
- Installation files — not hosted, not mirrored, no alternative links. Files come from the project's official repository only
- Installation services, remote assistance or paid support of any kind
- Anything relating to bypassing licensing or activation
- Recommendations for third-party download or tool sites, paid or otherwise
- Judgements on whether some third-party tool is safe — we cannot verify its origin, so any answer would be irresponsible
- General technical questions unrelated to this site's scope, such as other platforms or operating systems
How replies work
This site is maintained by one person in their own time. No response time is promised, and not every message gets a reply. Messages that generally will not receive one: anything outside this site's scope, requests for the services listed above, and messages that express frustration without a concrete question.
A message containing something specific and checkable may still shape later updates even if it cannot be answered at the time — that is one of the main sources of improvement here.
